This, with the addition of a moisturizer, makes it exceptionally good at hydrating skin. Hyaluronic acid was once too large a molecule for the skin to absorb. Thanks to modern technology, though, nano-sized molecules which easily penetrate the skin are readily available. This gel contains nano-molecules of hyaluronic acid to quickly grab onto moisture and then be absorbed by you skin, where it moisturizes much more effectively than moisturizer alone. While it has “acid” in its name, it’s pH balanced and non-irritating, making it suitable for all skin types.
